1. A parent starts the account
A parent or guardian owns the account, billing, consent, and safety settings. Children do not buy plans, manage settings, or use the app without the parent-owned account.
How it works
Start with a parent preview or paid child access.
Riley's Way is designed for parents and guardians first. Try sample age-group content in the adult Starter Preview, or connect a paid membership and complete the parent steps for Child Mode.
2. Choose a free preview or paid membership
Starter Preview is one free seven-day adult parent demonstration per email address, ever. Choose one, several, or all age groups to see synthetic sample content within the same 168 hours, starting immediately when you claim the preview. No real child profile is needed. For paid Crown Club or an earlier preview order, use the same parent email used at checkout.
3. Paid members set up child access
With an eligible paid membership, the parent completes verification and consent before adding a nickname-only child profile and birthday. Riley's Way uses the birthday to place the child in Little Dreamers, Rising Stars, or Future Leaders.
4. Fresh Drops arrive on a schedule
Approved Fresh Drop releases are currently scheduled for January–June 2027. Dates vary by age group; new releases are not scheduled every day. Once releases begin, paid Crown Club shows one available Fresh Drop for each eligible child age group after required parent verification and consent. Starter Preview uses separate sample content.
5. Child Mode stays parent-led
After a parent signs in and chooses an eligible child profile, Child Mode shows age-group content, reflection questions, videos or images when attached to a drop, and Crown Shop wishlist items for parent review.
6. Safety gates come before sharing
Community Photos, photo uploads, and Kind Words reactions are currently closed. They can open only after the required parent consent, review, moderation, and family safeguards are ready.

Fresh Drops, Crown Wins, and age-group prompts give families simple, steady moments to use throughout the month without putting account control in a child's hands.
