A parent or guardian creates the account, adds nickname-only child profiles, records consent, and controls access. The app verifies that each child profile belongs to the signed-in parent.

Riley's Way safety defaults
Riley's Way starts with parent-owned accounts, nickname-only child profiles, age-group content, approved Kind Words, Community Photos safeguards, and protected photo review. Children do not manage billing, public profiles, direct messages, or location-sharing features. Riley's Way does not create public child profiles.
Parent trust
Riley's Way starts with the safest version first.
Families can use parent profiles, consent, member access, Child Mode, Fresh Drops, and Crown Shop wishlist features first. Community Photos and photo sharing stay limited until the right safeguards are in place.
- Parent creates account
- Parent adds nickname-only child profile
- App verifies the child profile belongs to that parent
- Parent consent is saved for profile, community, or photo permissions
- Content is matched to the child's age group
- Community Photos stays limited to reviewed photos and approved Kind Words
- Hair photos can be submitted by a parent for review before any Community Photos use
- Reports are saved for safety review
Approved kindness only
Community Photos uses approved Kind Words phrases only. A phrase cannot be saved unless the child profile belongs to the parent and parent community consent is granted.
Minimal child profile details
Riley's Way asks for a nickname and birthday so it can place each child in the right age group. Child profiles do not require full names, public handles, school names, or locations.
No private adult contact
Riley's Way does not allow private adult-to-child messaging, public child contact details, location sharing, or unapproved adult community access.
Reports go to review
Parents can report bullying, unsafe adult behavior, privacy concerns, inappropriate content, account concerns, or other safety issues for review.
Photo sharing starts with private review
Parent-submitted hair photos require separate permission, metadata stripping, technical screening, private storage, human review, and parent deletion controls. Approved photos can appear only inside parent-approved Community Photos.
